BIO:

Late one night in Shibuya, Tokyo, a noise was heard coming from a karaoke booth. It was not singing, or the sound of professionally played instruments but the sound of darkness!! Surrounded by empty pitchers of beer and half full glasses of a variety of cocktails a girl was found dry throat screaming to Battle Metal. Now every night this girl could be found in the same booth – room 00 – until one Friday night a band from Germany could hear the mating calls of the metal chick and could not resist but to kidnap her to bring her on tour with them – after months of touring with the insane, pyrotechnic loving, industrial metal band they arrived in London for some serious partying.

Whilst on a night out they were somehow drawn in by a group of dolls and a few guys all in red and black singing along to a song called ‘I love Rock and Roll’ – now this reminded the girl of Tokyo and her nights of dry throat screaming – could she have found a new home from home? She couldn’t help but join in and before she knew it she was hearing about the marvellous world of Roller Derby. Becoming more and more intrigued she had to know more, getting excited she tried a hip check on the dance floor only to knock into Piston Broke ‘Wow, that’s a good ‘un – what’s your name?’ She looked up at him, ‘Betty Swollox’, she replied. ‘Well we need to get you sorted with some skates because you can’t waste hip checks like that’. So quicker then you can say ‘London Rockin' Rollers’, Betty was absorbed into the pack and has been battling ever since.
